Integration Solutions Architect

Objective

To onboard an experienced Integration Solutions Architect with strong hands-on design capabilities and proven experience in System Integration (SI)-led engagements within the telecom domain.

The architect will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and documenting integrations across OSS, BSS, Digital, ERP, and Network systems — ensuring high-quality, secure, and consistent integration delivery aligned with enterprise architecture direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Documentation
• Develop detailed Integration High-Level Designs (HLDs) and review Low-Level Designs (LLDs) prepared by System Integrators (SIs).
• Document end-to-end integration flows, including system interactions, data mappings, message formats, authentication, and exception handling.
• Ensure integration designs meet performance, scalability, resilience, and security requirements.
• Maintain interface catalogs, sequence diagrams, and integration topology views as part of design documentation.
• SI-Led Delivery Support
• Work as part of an SI-led delivery program, supporting all phases from design through testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with SI and internal technical teams during joint solution design workshops to ensure alignment with architecture and design standards.
• Review and validate SI deliverables to ensure compliance with Clean Core principles, technical quality, and governance requirements.
• Provide hands-on support during integration testing and cutover preparation, ensuring full traceability from design to implementation.
• Cross-Domain Integration Coverage
• OSS: Fulfillment, assurance, orchestration, mediation, inventory systems.
• BSS: CRM, billing, order management, product catalog, ERP (Oracle/SAP).
• Digital: API gateways, self-care portals, mobile apps, middleware (Apigee, SAP CPI, Tibco).
• Network: 4G/5G Core exposure (NEF, NWDAF), SDN/NFV, provisioning and activation interfaces.
• Technology & Standards
• Expertise in integration and middleware platforms such as TIBCO, Apigee, SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of TM Forum Open APIs, MEF LSO, 3GPP exposure frameworks, and SOAP/REST-based integration patterns.
• Apply security mechanisms including OAuth2.0, mTLS, JWT, and encryption standards across all designs.
• Ensure documentation and designs adhere to enterprise templates, EA guidelines, and Solution Review Board (SRB) expectations.
• Collaboration & Governance
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and System Integrators for end-to-end alignment.
• Participate in Solution Design Review Board (SRB) sessions to present, review, and validate integration deliverables.
• Provide technical input and clarifications to development, testing, and operations teams.
• Ensure integration documentation is version-controlled, consistent, and aligned with approved standards.

Expected Deliverables

• Approved Integration High-Level Design (HLD) documents.
• Reviewed and validated SI Low-Level Design (LLD) packages.
• Comprehensive interface catalog with mappings, dependencies, and message specifications.
• Sequence diagrams and data flow documentation for all key integrations.
• Design review reports and closure actions from SRB sessions.

Critical Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in integration design and delivery, preferably in telecom or large enterprise environments.
• Mandatory: Proven hands-on experience in System Integration (SI)-led transformation programs.
• Deep technical knowledge of middleware, APIs, data integration, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with OSS/BSS/Digital/ERP/Network systems and cross-domain data flow.
• Strong understanding of integration security, observability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent documentation, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills across multi-vendor environments.
