Odoo ERP Developer

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining ERP solutions exclusively on the Odoo platform. The role requires strong experience in Odoo ERP modules, with the ability to design, develop, and support scalable, testable, and efficient Odoo-based applications aligned with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and enhance Odoo ERP modules
  • Work extensively on core ERP modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Payroll, CRM, Project, and Manufacturing (if applicable)
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo ERP solutions
  • Design and implement scalable, reusable, and testable Odoo code
  • Customize Odoo workflows, views, reports, dashboards, and access rights
  • Maintain and improve existing Odoo ERP implementations
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Odoo ERP bugs and performance issues
  • Handle Odoo integrations with third-party systems and APIs
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security using PostgreSQL
  • Support Odoo upgrades, migrations, and version control
  • Collaborate with functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations) for ERP process alignment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as an Odoo ERP Developer
  • Strong hands-on experience working with Odoo ERP modules
  • Proficiency in Python and Odoo ORM
  • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL / relational databases
  • Experience with XML, QWeb, JavaScript, and Odoo views
  • Good understanding of ERP business processes
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work only on Odoo platform–based ERP systems
