Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Company Overview:

ALGO Systems Qatar is a leading systems integrator with over 12 years of experience in the GCC market, specializing in Traffic Signal Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Smart City Projects. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our team immediately in Doha.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs for ITS, Traffic Signal, and Smart Infrastructure projects.
  • Review project drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate costing.
  • Manage cost control, budgeting, and progress claims throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations, variations, and change orders.
  • Prepare monthly valuations, invoices, and cost reports for management and client review.
  • Support project managers in procurement, contract administration, and commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with the engineering and estimation teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Candidates currently residing in Qatar.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, electrical, or ITS-related projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Electrical / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management or related field.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
  • NOC: Must be available to transfer sponsorship.
  • Language: English proficiency required.
  • Availability: Must be able to join immediately.
