Position Details

  • Role: Test Lead – Manual Testing (Card & Cortex Applications)
  • Experience: 10+ years overall (minimum 5 years in FIS IST / Cortex)
  • Offshore Location: Trivandrum / Bangalore
  • Onsite Location: Qatar
  • Maximum CTC: QAR 15,000
  • Notice Period: Immediate joiners only
  • Passport: Valid passport mandatory

Key Responsibilities & Expertise

  • Lead and manage manual testing activities for Card Management Systems and Digital Banking platforms

  • Hands-on testing experience across the complete card lifecycle, including:

  • Tokenization

  • Authorization
  • Settlement
  • Issuance & Acquiring

  • Chargeback processing

  • Strong experience with FIS IST Switch / Cortex (all modules)

Technical Skills & Domain Knowledge

  • Expertise in:

  • Cortex authorization rules, product setup, risk rules, and fee configurations

  • Acquiring modules, POS systems, and Cortex APIs

  • FIS clearing and payment monitoring

  • Strong interaction experience with Visa, MasterCard, NAPS, AMEX, and UPI

  • In-depth knowledge of:

  • NFC & Contactless transactions

  • Tokenization-based payments
  • ATM testing and scheme compliance (Visa/MasterCard)

  • Simulators (OTS, Visa, MasterCard)

  • Familiarity with:

  • MTIP, VSDC, terminal certification

  • ISO 8583 message formats
  • Oracle 19c and PL/SQL
  • EMV, VBV, PCI standards, and card applications

Additional Experience

  • EMV migration and ATM/POS acquiring & issuing
  • New product launches and system migrations
  • E-commerce acquiring (Visa/MasterCard)
  • Vendor coordination for deployments, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Hands-on exposure to Prime, Way4, and wallet/tokenization initiatives
  • Knowledge of EFT and Banking Channels (ATM, POS, PCTs, Internet Banking)
  • Understanding of Mobile & Internet Banking and secure transaction protocols
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance projects (Central Bank, PCI DSS)
