Overview:

This role is responsible for building, implementing, and overseeing the data governance framework across SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP MDG. The position ensures that organizational data remains accurate, consistent, compliant, and accessible, supporting enterprise-wide digital and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain data governance policies, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Oversee data quality management and ensure consistency across SAP systems using SAP MDG and governance tools such as Informatica.
  • Work closely with IT, business units, and functional teams to embed data governance into all SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors processes.
  • Lead data stewardship initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise data management objectives.
  • Conduct regular data compliance and quality audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and global regulations.
  • Deliver training and awareness programs on data governance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that monitor data quality, compliance, and governance KPIs using Tableau or Power BI.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role in data governance or SAP data management.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP MDG, and data governance tools (Informatica required).
  • Deep understanding of data management frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA preferred).
  • Ability to design and implement data governance dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Solid SAP functional knowledge across relevant ERP modules.
  • Prior experience working in the GCC region is an advantage.
