Job Description

  • Prepare detailed CAD drawings for roads, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure works in compliance with Ashghal standards.
  • Update and revise drawings based on design changes, engineer instructions, or client feedback.
  • Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and meet project specifications and drafting standards.
  • Maintain an organized filing system of drawings and project documentation.
  • Coordinate and liaise with engineers, designers, and other project team members.
  • Assist in compiling design documentation and as-built drawings.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure drawing consistency and compliance with Ashghal guidelines.
  • Support the BIM team when required and integrate CAD work with BIM models as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Technician, preferably on Ashghal or major roads/infrastructure projects in Qatar.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with MicroStation or Civil 3D is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of road layouts, utilities, surface water drainage, and infrastructure details.
  • Knowledge of Ashghal standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
