Job Summary:

BIM Manager is responsible for delivering a business's technology strategy and promoting the benefits of digital ways of working. He may support a small team, ensuring that projects run smoothly, and project information models are delivered on time. The role involves working closely with BIM coordinators who are responsible for managing the digital process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

§ Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients, and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective.

§ Working closely with BIM coordinators, who are responsible for producing project information models.

§ Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project.

§ Completing supply chain assessments.

§ Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances.

§ Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programs.

§ Ensuring staff have access to the tools and equipment they need.

§ Overseeing the purchase of workstations so that hardware is sufficient and effective.

§ Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation.

§ Keeping up to date with advancements in building technology.

§ Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies.

§ Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues.

§ Overseeing BIM budgets.

§ Supporting the career development, coaching, and mentoring of a team of staff.

§ Raising the profile of BIM within across departments and teams.

§ Adhering to the latest industry standards.

§ Provide training to staff on BIM tools, processes, and best practices.

§ Implement and enforce BIM Standards to maintain data quality and consistency.

§ Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure compliance with established standards.

§ Ensure smooth exchange of data between different BIM tools and platforms.

§ Explore opportunities for integrating BIM with other technologies, such as virtual reality or augmented reality.

§ Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits.

§ Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Business development & tenders management activities

§ To ensure, Implement, Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards

§ Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental department requirements and Audits.

§ To Report and record the QHSE dept. non-conformities and in coordination with QHSE dept for closure.

§ Identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards and risks in the workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and promoting a culture of quality, health, safety & environmental within the organization.

§ Understanding, support and follow the waste management system

§ Coordinate and contact the organization ERT team during in emergency case

§ Record, report the incidents and near misses to the management and QHSE dept.

Education & Experience:

§ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering

§ Minimum 10 years of experience

§ Extensive experience in BIM software such as Planarly, Revit, NAVISWORKS or ACC and digital tools.

§ Strong communication skills, and an understanding of project management principles.

§ Certified Revit professional.

Required Skills:

§ Proficiency in BIM Software

§ Strong Understanding in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software

§ Technical expertise (BIM software and workflows)

§ Ability to create accurate and detailed 3D models

§ Ability to visualize and communicate complex design concepts
