Content Operations Lead

Role Overview

We're looking for a Content Operations Lead who can blend creativity with operational excellence. This role sits at the heart of our digital content platform, ensuring that every audio and visual piece—from podcasts to short-form videos to full-scale productions—is planned, produced, and delivered seamlessly.

You'll design content workflows, manage production pipelines, coordinate internal and freelance teams, and make sure creative ideas are executed with quality, speed, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and optimize end-to-end production workflows for audio, video, and multimedia content.

Translate creative concepts into structured production plans, timelines, and deliverables.

Source, onboard, and manage freelance creators including editors, videographers, animators, scriptwriters, and sound engineers.

Oversee pre-production, production, and post-production, ensuring all content meets quality standards and platform objectives.

Coordinate calendars, shoots, and production schedules to keep projects aligned and on track.

Implement quality control processes, ensuring visual consistency, audio clarity, and brand alignment.

Track budgets, negotiate freelance rates, and ensure cost-efficient project delivery.

Continuously improve tools, processes, and systems for smoother, faster content operations.

Experience & Skills

3+ years in digital content production, audio/video creation, or operations for creative platforms.

Demonstrated ability to run production pipelines, from idea to final delivery.

Experience recruiting, managing, and coordinating freelance or remote creative teams.

Strong understanding of editing workflows, asset management, and production tools (e.g., Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, Audition, Notion, Airtable, ).

Excellent organizational, planning, and project-management skills.

A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, execution, and continuous improvement.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and operational teams.

Education

A bachelor's degree in media, communications, film, design, or a related field is an advantage—but relevant experience, portfolio, and proven execution matter most.
