Senior Drainage Engineer
Qatar
Parsons is looking for a talented
Senior Drainage Engineer*
to join our Doha team In this role you will design complex storm/groundwater networks applying engineering techniques and analyses on large subdivision development and highway projects.

*What You'll Be Doing:*

  • The Engineer at this level is proficient in the utilization of most hydraulic engineering theories & practices, report writing, and design documents review (Drawings, Hydraulic Models, Reports). Assignments involve engineering)/CAD applications.

*What Required Skills You'll Bring:*

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and 8+ years of related work experience. MME Engineer Registration is required or must be attained within six months. Experience in Qatar and Middle East is a plus.
  • Independently perform complex storm/groundwater network layout design; and network/pump station hydraulic modelling, efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to produce high-quality Plan and profile drawings.
  • Ability to independently prepare drainage design reports.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Bentley StormCAD, SewerGEMS, InfoDrainage, Civil 3D and InfoWorks ICM, for design, analysis and production of storm sewer hydraulic models and drawings.
  • InfoWorks 2D Modelling, InfoWorks Model Build Report (MBR) preparation and ArcGIS experience are a plus.

*What Required Skills You'll Bring:*

  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent design coordination skills with other disciplines.
  • Excellent communication skills with Public Works Authority technical staff.
