Job Title: Oracle Utilities Architect

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Onsite Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Create and present innovative, scalable, and highquality technology solutions based on business requirements.
  • Oversee the architecture and design of Oracle Utilities solutions and ensure alignment with technical, logical, and enterprise design guidelines.
  • Develop system design models, specifications, diagrams, and architecture charts to guide functional and development teams.
  • Ensure successful delivery of complex, largescale, and crossfunctional Oracle Utilities implementations—on time, within scope, and within budget.

Consulting & Project Leadership

  • Provide advanced consulting support across detailed design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Work closely with business teams to identify, analyze, and document business needs and future opportunities.
  • Present findings, architectural recommendations, and solution strategies to senior leadership.

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and drive process improvements within the department.
  • Support periodic assessments of new features, perform impact analyses, and assist with script/code updates.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, design patterns, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with QA and Continuous Improvement teams to support ISO Risk Management & ISMS certification.

Coaching & Mentoring

  • Identify development needs of team members and provide mentoring to improve technical knowledge and skills.
  • Guide architects, functional consultants, and developers in following best practices and reference frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Utilities, including 5+ years in consulting or services.
  • Experience working in multitier enterprise environments and collaborative team settings.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:

  • Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)

  • Customer to Meter (C2M)
  • Meter Data Management (MDM)

  • Customer Care & Billing (CCB)

  • Indepth domain knowledge of:

  • MetertoCash lifecycle

  • Billing, payments, credit & collections
  • Rates, new connections, MoveIn/MoveOut

  • Smart metering

  • Must have C2M/MDM/CCB lead architect experience in at least three utility implementations.

  • Successful endtoend, full lifecycle implementation experience.
