Key Responsibilities:Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on heavy vehicles, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings.
  • Conduct periodic preventive maintenance (PM) based on schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Ensure all repairs are performed to standard and recorded properly.

Hydraulic System Maintenance

  • Overhaul and service hydraulic systems on compactors, skip loaders, hook loaders, and lifting equipment.
  • Identify hydraulic leaks and repair or replace affected components.
  • Maintain and test pressure systems for proper function and safety.

Diagnostics & Reporting

  • Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify engine and system issues.
  • Maintain detailed service records and job cards for all repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Report recurring problems and suggest preventive measures to the Workshop Supervisor.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety procedures and ensure workshop safety standards are met.
  • Use proper tools, PPE, and safety equipment while performing duties.
  • Dispose of waste oil, filters, and parts according to environmental and safety policies.

Team Support

  • Assist other mechanics and drivers in troubleshooting on-site vehicle breakdowns.
  • Support the Workshop Supervisor in maintaining parts inventory and ordering spares.
  • Participate in regular toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2, QAR4,000.00 per month
