About the Job

You'll be responsible for
troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing
a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment. This role demands a technical skill in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as diesel engine repair. Maintain the equipment, set it up, and work with the team to meet project needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the vehicle and search for visible defects and rectify them.
  • Carry out mobile equipment Repair & Maintenance as per the instructions given.
  • Conduct equipment functioning test after completion of the repair/maintenance.
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are properly documented as per the system requirements.
  • Ensure up keep of assigned tools, report any defective tools or equipment & raise additional tools requirements (if any) to the workshop management team.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping at workplace.
  • Work with colleagues as a team.
  • Know all role relevant SWI (Safe working Instructions) and comply for each task.
  • Take ownership of HSE in relation to task at hand.
  • Report all incidents relating to health & safety to Foremen/Team Leader
  • Ensure compliance with group HSE policy, paying particular attention to LOTOTO & PPE.
  • Consult with direct/indirect reports if unsure of ability to complete any task in a safe manner.
  • Carry out LMRA in preparation for each and every task.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience: Minimum 5 Years of experience as mechanic/asst. mechanic
  • Basic oral & written English language skills.
  • Qatar
    Light
    Driving License is an advantage
