Job Overview:

We are looking for experienced TIG (GTAW) Welders to join our oil and gas project team. The role involves precise and high-quality welding work on stainless steel and alloy materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, duplex, and carbon steel pipes and fittings.
  • Interpret drawings and welding procedures accurately.
  • Prepare joints, check root gaps, and perform fit-up prior to welding.
  • Conduct root pass, filler, and cap welding as per WPS and inspection requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Support in fabrication and assembly work as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' TIG welding experience in oil & gas or industrial projects.
  • WPS qualification for SS / CS / Duplex materials preferred.
  • Familiar with argon purging and root pass techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and weld quality.
  • Valid TIG welder certification (3G / 6G) preferred.
  • Basic English communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: Based on experience and certification level.

Working Hours: 9 hours/day + overtime as per project schedule.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR2, QAR3,500.00 per month
