About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking a qualified Civil Inspector to support the construction of heavy Civils and major drainage systems/Sewerage Networks projects in Qatar. 

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and inspecting the construction work and ensuring compliance with the PPPA and the Health & Safety and Welfare requirement is being carried out in compliance with the regulatory and the Authority safety and welfare requirements.
  • Attend progress and technical meetings with the Authority and the Project Company.

Candidate specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and/ or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute to the approval of the Engineer.
  • Demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects related to similar pump station or STW projects or water retaining structures.
  • Experience should also include construction involving structural concrete, buildings, piping installations, deep excavations and pavement/ roadworks, utilities diversion/ interface etc.
  • Must have good command of English both written and spoken;
  • Computer skills are mandatory.
