Role Overview

We are seeking a
Trade Corridors & Infrastructure Modernization Analyst
to contribute to applied research and advisory projects focused on connectivity planning, port logistics, and cross-border trade facilitation in the Gulf region. Based in Doha, this role is ideal for professionals with experience in logistics policy, customs reform, or infrastructure investment—particularly within the context of GCC economic transformation and international trade flows.

You will support the development of technical reports, corridor assessments, and policy frameworks that inform regional planning and multilateral engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze trade corridors, logistics infrastructure, and investment strategies across Qatar and the wider GCC
• Contribute to technical reports, strategic briefings, and regulatory modernization diagnostics
• Support assessments of smart port development, digital customs, and intermodal transport systems
• Track developments in Gulf–Asia and Gulf–Africa trade integration frameworks
• Prepare consultation materials for ministries, DFIs, and international stakeholders
• Collaborate with global teams to design infrastructure modernization roadmaps and investment scenarios

Qualifications

• Degree in Transport Planning, Public Policy, International Trade, or Development Economics
• 2–5 years of experience in trade facilitation, infrastructure consulting, or regional development projects
• Familiarity with GCC connectivity initiatives, port sector reform, or Qatari logistics systems is an asset
• Excellent English writing and research skills
• Experience working with public institutions, donor-funded programs, or multilateral agencies is desirable
• Knowledge of ESG infrastructure frameworks, free zones, or customs automation tools is a plus
