Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Engineer specializing in Design Review and Project Management/Construction Management (PMCM). The position is based in Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Qatar. The Marine Engineer will oversee design reviews, conduct technical assessments, lead marine engineering operations, monitor maintenance and repair activities, and coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards. Additional responsibilities include supervising maritime construction processes, offering technical assistance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining optimal quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Marine Engineering and the Marine Industry
  • Proficiency in handling Maintenance & Repair tasks related to maritime structures and systems
  • Familiarity with Navy and Maritime operations and standards
  • Relevant academic qualifications and certifications in structural/civil/Marine Engineering or a related field
  • Proven project management experience, preferably in marine or infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment
