Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior QA/QC Engineer
to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of high-rise building and interior fit-out projects in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality control systems and ensuring all works meet local and international standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific
    Quality Assurance/Quality Control plans
    , Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and procedures.
  • Oversee the inspection of materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and
    international standards (ASTM, BS, ISO, etc.)
    .
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for inspection approvals and non-conformance closures.
  • Ensure timely submission of QA/QC documentation including
    method statements, ITPs, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, CARs, and QA reports
    .
  • Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings to ensure conformity with design requirements.
  • Conduct
    site inspections
    and audits, and ensure work is executed as per approved quality plans.
  • Lead root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions for any quality-related issues.
  • Ensure fit-out works including MEP, finishes, and architectural elements are executed to the highest standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA/QC staff and provide technical support to the project team.
  • Prepare and maintain final QA/QC dossiers for project handover.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
    in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years
    of relevant experience, with a strong focus on
    high-rise buildings and interior fit-out projects
    .
  • Proven experience in the
    GCC
    , preferably in
    Bahrain
    , with understanding of local construction practices and standards.
  • Certified in
    ISO 9001:2015 QMS
    , or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
