Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Hyperion Techno-Functional Consultant
with strong expertise in
Hyperion Planning and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
. The consultant will take full ownership of change requests, enhancements, and project deliverables, working closely with business users, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial planning and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Change & Enhancement Management

  • Take full ownership of assigned change requests, minor and major enhancements, and project tasks
  • Support system changes during application upgrades and patching activities
  • Perform release management in compliance with organizational service management processes

Analysis & Solution Design

  • Perform requirements analysis, functional analysis, feasibility analysis, and impact analysis
  • Prepare functional design documents and configure solutions for enhancement requests
  • Design and develop Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR) reports

Oracle Hyperion Planning

  • Design and develop simple and complex web forms
  • Write and maintain complex business rules
  • Manage planning unit hierarchies
  • Configure SMTP setup and notifications
  • Perform user access management and security configuration

Oracle Data Integration

  • Develop and support integrations using
    Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c)
  • Work with
    FDMEE
    for data integration and financial data loading
  • Manage and maintain master data for Hyperion applications

Testing & Performance

  • Perform functional, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Conduct performance testing using approved tools and defined processes

Environment Management

  • Perform configuration and setup activities on Hyperion Test and Production instances
  • Manage cloning and migration of Test and Production environments
  • Implement and monitor backup automation processes
  • Coordinate with DBA and Infrastructure teams for schema, user, and system issues

Documentation & Training

  • Prepare and maintain documentation including:
  • Setup documents
  • Functional design documents
  • Security and responsibility matrices
  • Test plans, cutover plans, implementation plans, and rollback strategies
  • Release and deployment documentation
  • Train business users and functional teams on developed solutions

Support & Client Interaction

  • Raise service requests with Oracle Support for issue analysis and system enhancements
  • Work in client-facing roles, liaising with on-site and offshore teams
  • Provide regular status updates and maintain accurate ticket documentation
  • Adhere strictly to change and release management processes

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum
    5 years
    of experience as an Oracle Hyperion Techno-Functional Consultant
  • At least
    3 years of operational support experience
  • Experience in
    minimum 2 Hyperion implementations or upgrades
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Oracle Hyperion Planning 11.2.6
  • Expertise in:
  • Web form design (simple and complex)
  • Business rule development
  • HFR report design and development
  • Planning unit hierarchy management
  • User access and security management
  • Strong knowledge of
    Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c)
    and
    FDMEE
  • Experience with ETL integrations using ODI
  • Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience producing clear, concise status and progress reports
