Job Description
ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced MIS Officer to join our dynamic IT team in Qatar. As an MIS Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our information systems to support business operations. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and providing technical support to various departments. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the strategic decision-making process within the organization.
- Manage and maintain the company's Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure seamless operations.
- Collect, consolidate, and validate operational and financial data from various banking departments.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights for business improvement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Analyze trends in deposits, loans, NPAs, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
- Generate customer, loan, deposit, and branch performance reports.
- Monitor core banking systems and ensure smooth functioning of MIS applications.
- Identify system issues, troubleshoot errors, and escalate technical problems to the IT team.
- Assist in system upgrades, new software implementation, and database maintenance.
- Develop and implement data management strategies to enhance data quality and accessibility.
- Develop dashboards and analytical tools to improve business performance.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users to maximize system utilization.
- Develop automated reporting tools using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Improve existing reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement digital solutions to reduce manual workloads.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in all MIS systems.
- Conduct periodic data audits and clean-ups.
- Implement data access controls as per bank policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.
Required Profile
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional with a strong background in IT and data management. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Proven 3 – 5 Years of experience in managing MIS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the banking or financial sector is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (Advanced) – formulas, dashboards, pivot tables
- Proficiency in SQL and basic database management.
- Experience with MIS tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting software.
- Understanding of core banking systems (T24, Finacle, Flexcube, etc.).
- Basic programming skills (Python, VBA, or similar) – advantage but not mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of database management and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
