We are looking for a proactive and analytical
Assistant Category Manager
to support the development and growth of our FMCG categories. The ideal candidate will assist in planning assortments, analyzing market data, coordinating with suppliers and supporting sales teams to achieve category targets across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and Food Service channels.

Category & Product Management:

  • Assist in developing category growth strategies.
  • Monitor SKU performance, conduct sales analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Support in assortment planning, SKU rationalization, and product lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for product listings, pricing updates, and promotional activities.

Trade Marketing & Merchandising:

  • Support in designing and executing monthly promotions and activation plans.
  • Provide guidance to sales and merchandising teams on category priorities, promotions, and product positioning.
  • Liaise with the sales team to implement promotional initiatives in trade.

Sales & Coordination:

  • Work closely with Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and HORECA sales teams.
  • Assist in preparing sell-in/sell-out reports, category dashboards, and performance reviews.
  • Follow up with external stakeholders (suppliers, retailers) for listings, offers, and agreements.

Inventory & Forecasting:

  • Assist in demand planning and stock forecasting based on trends and sales velocity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams for timely replenishment.
  • Identify slow-moving and non-moving items and suggest corrective actions.
