ob Description – Skilled Pipeline Engineer

Reports To: Construction Manager

Role Purpose:

Provide engineering and technical expertise in pipeline construction, ensuring safe, quality, and

timely execution as per project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and support planning updates.

  • Interpret pipeline drawings including alignment sheets, crossing details, and procedures.

  • Coordinate with Construction Manager, QC, HSE, and Planning teams for smooth

execution.

  • Monitor pipeline stringing, fit-up, welding, NDT, FJC, lowering, and pre-commissioning

activities.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.

  • Support troubleshooting and client/third-party inspections.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 5–10 years of pipeline construction experience (oil & gas).

  • Skilled in DPR preparation, drawing interpretation, and team coordination.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE and quality requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of ASME B31.8
