Job Title: QAQC Inspector - Immediate Joiner

Industry: Construction (Roadworks)

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction Checks

· Review approved drawings, method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and material approvals.

· Verify suitability of construction materials (subgrade, sub-base, aggregate, asphalt, etc.) and ensure they are tested and approved.

· Confirm calibration and certification of testing equipment.

Inspection & Testing

· Monitor subgrade preparation (levels, compaction, moisture content).

· Witness and verify FDT (Field Density Tests), CBR tests, and survey checks.

· Inspect road base laying, compaction, and thickness compliance.

· Verify asphalt works: temperature at plant and site, layer thickness, compaction, binder/tack coat application, and rolling sequence.

· Ensure proper sampling for laboratory tests (bitumen content, gradation, Marshall stability/flow, etc.).

Documentation

· Prepare and maintain inspection records (INRs, checklists, test reports).

· Highlight non-conformances (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.

· Maintain daily QC reports for site activities and submit to the QA/QC Manager.

Coordination

· Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, and laboratory technicians.

· Call and coordinate inspections with the Consultant/Client representative.

· Ensure proper communication with suppliers and testing laboratories.

Compliance & Safety

· Ensure all works comply with QCS 2014, Ashghal standards, and project specifications.

· Monitor environmental conditions (weather, temperature, site cleanliness).

· Ensure safety practices during inspections (especially asphalt works with heavy equipment).

Final Works

· Verify final levels, alignment, and smoothness of the road surface.

· Check road markings, signage, and finishes for compliance.

· Assist in preparing handover documents (as-built drawings, test reports, compliance certificates).

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection for roadworks & infrastructure projects.

Must be available in Qatar, with valid Qatari Id

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR6, QAR6,500.00 per month
