Dawn & Dusk Advisors is supporting a regulated investment institution in Doha, Qatar, in hiring a Senior Operations Officer. The role oversees the operational and administrative processes behind the institution's Wealth Management, Investment Management and Placement teams.

You'll keep daily operations running efficiently, manage client records and documentation, support advisors, and deal directly with a high-profile client base. That base includes VVIP, VIP and elite individuals, plus government and corporate clients. The role reports to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain constant communication with management and staff to ensure seamless operational workflows.
• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of all operational areas.
• Identify business risks and strategic opportunities by analyzing operational data and results.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Optimize the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures.
• Establish and achieve key operational goals and milestones.
• Ensure operational activities and deliverables remain on schedule.
• Drive best practices and standardized processes across the organization.
• Liaise with legal, compliance, and safety departments to ensure full regulatory adherence.
• Oversee timely data collection and update operational metrics to hit productivity targets, minimize unit costs, eliminate errors, and elevate customer service.
• Partner with cross-functional support teams to enhance and refine proprietary tools and systems.
• Manage customer deposit processing and coordinate operational support for business teams.
• Prepare and verify documentation for wealth management accounts, liaising with international entities to manage investment portfolios and funds.
• Draft routine correspondence and maintain client operational records.
• Safeguard the strict confidentiality of customer records and contact lists across the Investment and Placement Departments.
• Provide customer relationship support through direct client interaction and perform ad-hoc operational support tasks.
• Conduct financial analyses of funds and investment portfolios, reviewing associated documentation against regulatory standards.
• Generate and deliver periodic performance reports to senior management and clients.
• Collaborate with executive management to establish departmental and organization-wide goals.

Mandatory Requirements (applications that don't meet all of these will not be considered)

• 8–10 years of operations experience in wealth management, investment management, asset management or private banking
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management or a related field
• Hands-on experience with investment or wealth account documentation, client onboarding and fund or portfolio operations
• Experience working within a regulated financial institution alongside Compliance
• Willingness to relocate to Doha, Qatar

Preferred

• Experience serving high-net-worth or VIP clients
• Experience preparing client portfolio performance reports
• GCC financial-services experience
• Experience leading process improvement or operational projects
