Job Responsibilities
- Conduct EEGs to measure brain activity and diagnose conditions such as epilepsy sleep disorders and brain tumors
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures including securing electrodes to the scalp
- Analyze EEG data and collaborate with physicians to interpret results and inform patient care
- Maintain patient records and EEG equipment to ensure accurate and effective patient care
- Provide patient education and support throughout the EEG procedure
- Stay current with new EEG technologies and techniques to continually improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electroencephalography or related field
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
