Job Description
Environmental Manager | Lead CEMP & Permittin Mind Stream is hiring for our client, a leading organization seeking an Environmental Manager to drive environmental compliance on-site. In this role, you will take full ownership of implementing the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and managing critical environmental permitting requirements to ensure seamless project execution.
What you'll do
-Oversee and manage the end-to-end implementation of the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) across the site.
- Coordinate and secure all necessary environmental permits and clearances from regulatory authorities.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure strict compliance with local and international environmental regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and environmental audits to identify potential risks and non-conformances. Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and regulatory bodies on environmental and sustainability matters. What you bring: Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Environmental Management and Sustainability practices.
- Proven experience in CEMP implementation on construction sites.
- Demonstrated track record of securing environmental permitting and regulatory clearances.
