Position Summary:

Q-Soft is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Qatar for an onsite career opportunity.
This full-time position requires a seasoned quality assurance professional with 5+ years of experience testing and automating Flutter-based mobile applications, web apps, APIs, and backend services.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring uncompromising software quality through rigorous functional testing, automated test suite development, and CI/CD quality gate validation.
The ideal candidate brings comprehensive technical proficiency in mobile testing across iOS and Android, automated testing frameworks like Appium or Playwright, API testing, and SQL.
Operating on-site in Qatar, you will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to accelerate reliable product delivery.

Detailed Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at Q-Soft, your core responsibilities encompass end-to-end quality assurance, test automation framework development, and release validation.
You will design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios across cross-platform Flutter mobile apps and web platforms.
Your daily engineering duties include performing mobile testing across iOS and Android devices, executing API test suites, and validating database integrity using SQL queries.
You will develop and maintain robust automated test scripts utilizing frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Flutter integration_test.
Operating within CI/CD continuous integration environments, you will support automated quality gates and participate in AI-assisted testing initiatives.
Investigating software defects, troubleshooting root causes, and collaborating with developers on rapid fix verification form a vital part of your daily workflow.
Maintaining meticulous test documentation, test coverage reports, and quality metrics ensures operational transparency and high software release standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing cycles.
Perform comprehensive mobile testing across diverse iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
Execute rigorous web application, API, backend service, and database/SQL validation testing.
Develop, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Appium, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Flutter integration_test.
Track software defects, investigate reproduction steps, and verify bug fixes in collaboration with developers.
Support CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated quality gates, and AI-assisted testing workflows.
Conduct performance, accessibility, and basic security testing to ensure application resilience.
Write automation scripts and test utilities utilizing Dart, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
Participate proactively in agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional team meetings.
Maintain up-to-date test documentation, test plans, and release validation checklists.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5+ years of professional software quality assurance and testing experience.
Strong, proven practical experience testing Flutter-based cross-platform mobile applications.
Hands-on proficiency with modern test automation frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Flutter integration_test.
Solid technical background in API testing, web application testing, and SQL/database validation.
Working knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD deployment environments.
Programming and scripting competence in Dart, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Legal eligibility and physical presence capability to work on-site in Qatar.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Practical experience implementing AI-assisted testing tools and test generation workflows.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) and security scanning utilities.
Working knowledge of cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Experience working in agile Scrum development environments and using Jira tracking tools. <
