Responsible for managing strategic banking projects, PMO governance, business requirements, and end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Governance
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and reporting.
- Establish PMO frameworks, track project progress, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Consultant & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate consultants, vendors, business teams, IT, risk, compliance, and operations.
- Define deliverables, monitor performance, and facilitate steering committee meetings.
3. Business Requirements & Delivery
- Oversee business requirements gathering, prioritization, and implementation planning.
- Lead system testing, UAT, go-live activities, and product enhancements.
4. Banking Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, risk reduction, and improved operational efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5–6 years in a supervisory/project management role within banking or IT operations.
- Project Management: Strong experience in PMO governance and full project lifecycle delivery.
- Banking Knowledge: Good understanding of Home Banking, ATM Management Systems, Card Management Systems, Foreign Trade, Treasury products, and other banking operations products .
- Technical Skills: Experience with banking applications, payment systems, business requirements, system testing, and UAT.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic .
