In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of road infrastructure.Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for road maintenance and operationsAnalyze and optimize existing mechanical systems to improve efficiency and performanceConduct regular inspections of road maintenance equipment and machineryDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components in road infrastructure projectsPrepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for mechanical systemsTroubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues in road operationsStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in road maintenance and operationsEnsure compliance with local road standards and regulations in QatarParticipate in project planning and execution, providing mechanical engineering expertiseQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in road operations and maintenanceProficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Strong knowledge of road maintenance equipment and machineryIn-depth understanding of mechanical systems related to road infrastructureExperience with project management tools and methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesFamiliarity with infrastructure asset management principlesKnowledge of local road standards and regulations in QatarEffective communication skills in English, both written and verbalAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAdditional Information
