Electrical Inspector – Solar PV / Energy Projects Location: Qatar Contract Duration: ~8 months (full-time on-site) Experience: Minimum 5 yearsRole Summary The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety codes, and quality standards. The role includes supervising EPC progress and verifying adherence to approved electrical engineering documents and layouts.Key Responsibilities Inspect electrical systems, cabling, and equipment related to BESS installation. Verify compliance with electrical standards, IEC codes, and approved project drawings. Document inspection findings and issue corrective actions as required. Support commissioning activities and ensure readiness for handover. Supervise EPC progress to ensure works meet project requirements and timelines. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical inspection, preferably in energy, solar, or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with IEC standards, electrical safety practices, and QA/QC procedures. Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with contractors and project teams. Additional Information Full-time allocation on-site for the duration of the works. Scope covers supervision of EPC progress and verification of compliance with approved engineering designs and layouts.
