Qualification:

• Higher National Degree (HND), or University Degree (Preferably in an Engineering discipline) or an Accredited HSE Professional Certificate Associate membership of a recognized safety institution is desirable.
• Must hold and maintain a valid HSE Management System Lead Auditor certification.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry, and specifically construction projects (including greenfield and brownfield work).
• Thorough knowledge of safe work practices, international standards (e.g., ISO 45001:2018), and procedures.
• Conversant with international standards in Environmental Management System.
• Trained in any of the following Incident Investigation Software: TapRoot, SafetyCulture, EasyRCA, Tripod Beta, etc.
• Competent in the use of PC including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and any other relevant software.
• Experience in the GCC is desirable.
