Position: Technical Author

We are looking for an experienced Technical Author for a 6-month contract, extendable based on project requirements and performance.

Location: Qatar
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and update technical documents, manuals, procedures, and reports
Prepare clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation for technical and operational teams
Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to gather accurate technical information
Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, quality systems, and project requirements
Maintain version control and proper document management
Support audits, reviews, and updates as required by the project

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical Author / Technical Documentation Specialist
Strong written and communication skills
Ability to understand and document technical and engineering information
Experience in industrial, engineering, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage
Must be available locally in Qatar
Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory
