Job Description: Culinary Buyer – Procurement – (Bakery)

 
Responsibilities;

·         Works with Senior Buyers, Category Managers, and Culinary Development in regard to assessing category performance and achieving strategic category targets and objectives.

·         Analyze purchase data.

·         Support global and regional buyers with purchasing execution.

·         Track, manage, report on performance of categories to drive continuous improvement.

·         Support negotiation preparation.

·         Collect new item information from and provide complete data submissions.

·         Process new item samples including unpacking, storage, and disposal.

Requirements;

·         Desire to understand perishable supply chain with a focus on culinary products.

·         Analytical skills to work effectively with data in various formats such as Excel pivot tables.

·         Understanding of culinary industry, trends, information sources and terminology.

·         Ability to create effective written correspondence, reports, plans, and procedure manuals.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Computer skills: Outlook, use of Smartphone, Excel, Word, SharePoint, digital cameras.

·         Commitment to the highest level of customer service and a passion for excellent food.
