Role Description The Arabic Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based at American Academy School in Doha, Qatar. The role includes planning and delivering engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for Elementary grade levels. Daily responsibilities involve preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student performance. The Arabic Teacher collaborates with colleagues, participates in school events, supports integration of Islamic values where appropriate, and contributes to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The teacher also communicates regularly with parents and guardians to support student learning and well-being. Qualifications
• Strong Language Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven experience in teaching Arabic to diverse learners.
• Competence in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including designing age-appropriate and engaging learning activities.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a multicultural school environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in international or bilingual schools is beneficial, especially within American or similar curricula.
• Ability to use educational technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and continuous professional development.
