Key Responsibilities
• Deliver accurate, real-time interpretation between English and Chinese throughout the event.
• Prepare in advance by reviewing relevant trading and commerce terminology and background materials.
• Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and consistency throughout the event.
• Coordinate with the e-Arabization project management team to ensure seamless interpretation services.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional standards. Qualifications
• Exceptional proficiency in Chinese and excellent command of English, with demonstrated professional interpreting capabilities in both directions.
• Proven professional interpreting experience at a minimum of 3 conferences or events.
• Demonstrated experience in simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation.
• Familiarity with trading, commerce, and business-related terminology.
• Excellent listening, communication, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional event environment.
• Candidates currently based in the GCC region are preferred due to event logistics and travel arrangements.
• A bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field is an advantage. Event Details & Travel Arrangements
