Al Rayyan, Qatar Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced Joinery & Carpentry Estimator to join our team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and quotations for carpentry, joinery, custom furniture, and interior fit-out works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for joinery and carpentry projects.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
- Calculate material, labour, machinery, transportation, and installation costs.
- Prepare BOQs and pricing for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, counters, and other joinery works.
- Obtain and compare material and supplier prices.
- Coordinate with the production, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate costing.
- Identify project requirements, exclusions, and potential variations.
- Prepare revised quotations based on client changes and project requirements.
- Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and supplier prices.
- Assist with tender submissions and commercial documentation. Requirements
- Previous experience in carpentry, joinery, furniture, or interior fit-out estimation.
- Good knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and technical drawings.
- Experience with quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.
- Good knowledge of Excel and estimation/costing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers, clients, and project teams.
- Candidates with practical carpentry/joinery experience and strong estimating skills are encouraged to apply. Preferred
- Experience in the Qatar/GCC construction or fit-out industry.
- Knowledge of local material and labour costs.
- Experience preparing quotations for commercial and residential projects.
- AutoCAD and advanced Excel knowledge. Pay: QAR2,800.00
- QAR3,500.00 per month Work
