Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist

Location:
Qatar Employment Type: Contract / Managed Services Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist to design, manage, and support secure and reliable IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, SCCM, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, automation, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage and support Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP infrastructure services.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including hybrid environments.
- Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
- Manage hybrid connectivity including VPN, ExpressRoute, VNet Peering, and Private Endpoints.
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, storage, virtualization, and core network services.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Automate deployments, patching, and configuration management using scripting and tools such as PowerShell and Ansible.
- Perform system hardening, patch management, security compliance, and access management.
- Manage Azure Governance, Policies, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Monitor infrastructure using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, Exchange, and connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with application, security, and other IT teams on deployments and integrations.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, procedures, and change records.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, resilience, security, and cost efficiency. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of total IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in Cloud and Infrastructure operations/architecture.
- Proven experience managing hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, security hardening, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong Microsoft infrastructure experience including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, SCCM, and Exchange.
- Hands-on experience with Intune and endpoint management.
- Experience with virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and security including Firewalls, VPNs, NSGs, WAF, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Required Certification Candidate should hold at least one relevant certification, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- VMware VCP
- Cisco CCNP
- CompTIA Cloud+
- ITIL Foundation Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Governance, Azure Policy, and RBAC.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Ansible, PowerShell DSC, or similar configuration management tools.
- Experience with monitoring and management tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional IT environments. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated CV.

- IT + Azure certified + Cloud Engineer.: 6 years (Preferred)
