Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior QS personnel with quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, measurements, and cost estimation for mechanical works.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope and identify quantity discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing material quantity calculations, subcontractor/supplier comparisons, and cost reports.
- Support the preparation of interim valuations, variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with engineers, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain required quantities, measurements, quotations, and technical information.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, quantities, costs, variations, and other QS documentation.
- Assist in monitoring project costs and ensuring proper documentation of all commercial activities. Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Entry-level candidates / fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and construction measurements.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and project specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a construction/project environment.
- Qatar/GCC experience is not mandatory for this entry-level position. Work
