Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical works and ensuring that project activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction activities at site.
- Monitor installation of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals.
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, and other disciplines.
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Attend inspections and support testing and commissioning activities.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Qatar standards, safety requirements, and project procedures.
- Prepare and review technical reports and site documentation. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
- Strong experience in MEP/mechanical construction works.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in site supervision and project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents. Pay: QAR9,000.00
