• Contract administration of pre-contract and post-contract activities, interacts with client

and Service Providers throughout the Contract period.

• Participates in corporate strategic planning activities such as risk assessment, bid/no bid

analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.

• Collaborates with Client and other stakeholders to ensure proper support in proposal

preparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration.

• Using a flexible and adaptable approach, the Commercial Manager will develop asset value

maximization strategies to ensure maximum value from the assets.

• Review the current FM procurement process and identify areas for improvement; create a

revised process with clear Authority limits and processes.

• Produce a program for tendering and retendering contracts based upon the

requirements/renewal dates/risk. Including the drafting of the GTAC tender plan strategy.

• Carry out a review of all current FM contracts procured by the client, identifying risk and

noncompliance.

• Create and manage an approved suppliers list whenever needed.

• Develop in conjunction with the team SLA’s/KPl’s for the service providers.

• Prepare Tender documentation for RFl/RFP.

• Assessment and evaluation of technical Tender returns (excluding Commercial

assessment) and recommendation.

• Management of variations claims (cost assessment / recommendation by client Cost

Control).

• Analyze contracts and make recommendations for the award of service contracts and minor

works packages.

• Preparation of Budget Estimates for FM Service Providers/Materials/Equipment Hire.

• Support the Client Management team in the preparation and management of budgets.

• Interact with other departments through the sharing of good practice and providing advice

as necessary in a professional capacity.

• Undertake other duties within the scope of the Facilities function as requested by Client.

Skills

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in commercial management of large projects.

• At least one year working with the company & minimum three (03) years working in Arabian

Gulf Region.

• Similar technical qualifications along with similar substantial work experience also will be

taken into consideration
