Job Overview:


We are seeking a professional and skilled Fine Dining Restaurant Waiters to join our team and provide exceptional service to our discerning guests.

As a waiter, you will be responsible for creating a memorable dining experience by delivering personalized service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Your attention to detail, extensive menu knowledge, and ability to anticipate guest needs will contribute to the overall success of our fine dining establishment.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, providing assistance as needed.
  • Present menus and provide detailed explanations of menu items, including specials and recommendations, showcasing a deep understanding of the cuisine and ingredients.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring special dietary requirements and preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, using proper serving techniques and ensuring the correct presentation of dishes.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service throughout their dining experience.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of wine and beverage offerings, making appropriate recommendations and assisting guests with their selections.
  • Ensure all tables are properly set with clean linens, polished silverware, and pristine glassware, adhering to the restaurant's standards of presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously, seeking assistance from the restaurant management team when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient and timely service, coordinating the delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including cleaning and resetting tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the restaurant.
  • Stay updated on the restaurant's offerings, including menu changes, seasonal promotions, and special events, to provide accurate and comprehensive information to guests.
  • Continuously strive to enhance your knowledge and skills through training, workshops, and selfstudy, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
:

  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage offerings, with the ability to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in taking orders and delivering service.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to the restaurant's grooming and dress code standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
