HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVR (IDD EL-SHARGI)

Primary purpose of job
Plan, Implement, manage, and continually improve the Process Safety Management Systems and provide support to OI Idd

El-Shargi OFFSHORE Assets/operations departments when required for process safety issues. Ensure compliance with

OSHA/CCPS/Seveso 3 and legal regulations, corporate, audit, and insurance requirements. Assure incorporation of fire

and loss preventive measures at design, execution, and commissioning of facilities.

Experience & Skills:

  • Member of recognized professional body.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the field of process/operation and process safety management implementation at
operations.

  • Inclusive, 10 years of experience in the Offshore Process and operation.
  • Extensive knowledge of international codes and standards,
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong leadership, command, control, negotiation, computer, presentation skills, exposure to online management,
document and maintenance systems including SAP.

  • Ability to perform field inspections, perform risk assessment, review/prepare proposals, and reports, communicate well
orally and in writing, interpret and analyse data.

  • Ability to work effectively with various personnel and in teams and be flexible in work assignments.
  • Be a change manger and create a good Process safety culture in QatarEnergy OI Idd El-Shargi team.

Education
Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline or Science with recognized safety courses
