Female Junior Accountant with Restaurant Catering Experience

Position

Starting monthly salary

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Female Accountant with Restaurant Catering Experience, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the financial aspects of our operations.


Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

1.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular financial reports to the business owner for informed decisionmaking.

2.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the business owner to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures, highlighting any discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.

3.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Manage accounts receivable to ensure proper invoicing, accurate recording of revenue, and timely collections.

4.

Cost Control and Analysis:

  • Track and analyze costs related to catering business operations, including food, beverages, staffing, and overhead expenses.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and operational efficiencies while maintaining highquality service.

5.

Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  • Perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting of supplies.

6.

Communication and Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the business owner, to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the restaurant or catering industry.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of integrity in handling financial data.
