Job Summary:


As an Order Taker at Panache catering, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service by accurately and efficiently taking orders from customers both face-to-face and over the phone.

Your attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and familiarity with cashier systems will contribute to ensuring smooth operations and a delightful dining experience for our customers.


Job responsibilities:
1- Greets customers warmly and assist them in understanding the menu options, including set menu, buffets and special orders.


2- Take orders from customers both in person and over the phone, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests preferences.

3- Utilize the restaurant's cashier system (POS) to process orders and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.

4- Provide recommendations and suggestive selling to enhance the overall food experience for customers.

5- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery

6- Maintain knowledge of current menu items, ingredients, and any changes to the offerings.

7- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary to the appropriate catering supervisor.

8- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the order-taking section and the surrounding areas.

9- Assist in upselling and promoting loyalty programs or special events to encourage repeat business.

10-Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and health regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as an Order Taker in restaurants within Doha, Qatar.
  • Fluent in English and can speak little Arabic, with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members.
  • Proficient in using cashier systems and handling cash and electronic transactions.
  • Customeroriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Salary:
QAR1, QAR2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Restaurants: 2 years (required)
