Job DescriptionSummary Materials Planning & ExecutionCoordinator will Support coordination demand and fulfillment of allcritical material flow (including from/to external vendors GECommercial Spares and within the repair and overhaul network)according to production schedules for success of the GE On WingSupport business.
Applicants must be familiar withAviation/Aerospace warehousing and inventory management practicewith exposure to regulatory obligations of part 145. JobDescription

EssentialResponsibilities:

  • EnsuresMaterial & Logistics operations are efficiently &compliantly performed per applicable GE policies & QualityControl Work Instructions.
  • Maintain optimizedInventory levels minimizing supply shortages &overstocking.
  • Assist with periodic stockcheck/Inventory count.
  • Perform Incomingmaterial inspection as per internal & regulatoryguidelines.
  • Put away and pull materials fromstock in alignment with production plan and KPIs.In that processthe coordinator will ensure parts are kitted/stored accordingly toprevent damage.
  • Coordinate with globalfulfillment & transport teams to mitigate any criticalmaterial supply issues for operations.
  • Maintain Data & Transaction integrity in ERP system byfollowing standard operating procedures & reflecting thetransactions in ERP system.
  • Managedispatch/transport of unserviceable parts for GE Aerospace Internal& External repair vendors.
  • Coordinatewith service providers for Engine transport & customspaperwork / clearance as necessary.
  • Coordinates with cross team functions for correctMaterial/Transport cost allocation to shop visits.
  • Maintain materials area with proper segregation& identification of parts/materials by adhering to 5Sconcept.
  • Participate in assessments readacross and PFMEAs to identify and understand sources of defects.Promptly identify and escalate risks to leadership and work withteam on solutions.
  • Participate in LEAN eventsand apply learnings to daily activity. Apply and improve uponstandard work in area of responsibility.
  • Execute other additional projects/tasks assigned in an efficient& timely manner.

Qualifications /Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with at least 3years of experience in airline aviationindustry
  • Strong Expertise in warehousing andinventory management practice with exposure to regulatoryobligations of part 145.
