Duties:

  • Responsible for providing analytical oversite of J2 Joint Intelligence Support Element (JISE) ), integrating and synchronizing intelligence support to operational activities.
  • Identifies intelligence gaps and assists in the development of intelligence collection programs.
  • Analyzes intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligencescope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a preappointment and periodic basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on a single scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • Must be willing to travel in conjunction with training and duties up to 30% of the time
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS12 that prepared you to do this job. Specialize experience is defined as experience with foreign intelligence, security service cyber threats, and force protection. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

  • General Military Intelligence (GMI) Analysis
  • Understanding Intelligence Data

Education:

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
