Pastry and Bakery Chef de Partie

Starting salary:
QAR 2,500++ to QAR 3,000++

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pastry Chef de Partie to join our talented pastry team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff to prepare and produce a diverse array of sweet and savory delicacies.

Your experience and expertise will contribute to maintaining our bakery's reputation for exceptional quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate mastery in pastry techniques, including baking, cake decorating, chocolate work, sugar crafting, and other advanced pastry skills.
  • Lead and assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods according to established recipes and the Head Pastry Chef's guidance.
  • Ensure all pastry items meet our high standards of taste, texture, presentation, and consistency, conducting regular quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new and seasonal pastry offerings, incorporating innovative and artistic elements to elevate the menu.
  • Supervise and train junior pastry cooks and assistants, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain meticulous records of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring stock levels are adequate and wellmanaged.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation practices in the pastry kitchen, ensuring a safe working environment for the team and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Contribute to menu planning, making suggestions for improvements and additions, while keeping abreast of industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Efficiently manage pastry production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and optimizing productivity.
  • Work harmoniously with other departments, such as the main kitchen and frontofhouse staff, to coordinate orders and maintain smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable culinary establishment.
  • A passion for pastry arts, with a deep understanding of baking techniques, flavor combinations, and creative presentation.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry and baking arts is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate team members effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a fastpaced environment, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen etiquette.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
QAR2, QAR3,000.00 per month
