Senior Fire Alarm Engineer

Job description
- Building Inspection responsible to examine buildings for flaws that could cause fires.
- Attending the civil defence inspection for internal and external properties to attain the trade/building license.
- Preparing work completion, PPM report for the completed works and taking approval from clients.
- Identifying critical safety issues and risks that need to be brought to the attention of the management.
- Must have strong knowledge in installation, testing and preventive maintenance and repair to fire alarm devices.
- Strong knowledge in preparing estimation, technical and commercial documents for the submission.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints.
- Designing of fire alarm systems for any type of projects
- Conduct detailed feasibility studies, fire alarm system analyses, and cost estimates to support project planning and decisionmaking processes.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure the successful execution of electrical engineering projects.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, ensuring that project progress, risks, and issues are communicated promptly and effectively.
- Propose & design alarm systems, fire prevention systems, and other detection devices.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
- Qatar Civil Defence certification (QCDD) is mandatory
- UPDA certification (Grade A or B) is mandatory.
- With valid Qatar driving license
- With training certificates
- Room Integrity Test Certificate (Level 3) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm design principles, codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD & industrystandard design software and tools.
- Programming of Fire Alarm System is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex fire alarm projects from inception to completion.
- Must have strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Administrative skills examines fire protection policies and fire codes and must to keep track of new or revised policies.
- Communication skills excellent to communicate technical information and give important safety training to a variety of different people.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
