Primary purpose ofjob
The Systems Engineer will be responsiblefor the strategic ongoing planning design and enhancementof

QATARENERGYs server deployments in the datacenter for Windows server environment. The focus will be onproviding
robust highly available responsive secure andscalable server environment while minimizing Total Cost ofOwnership

(TCO) and maximizing Return onInvestment (ROI) by deploying state of the art technologies bestpractices policies

processes and procedures.Responsible for configuring and managing Windows Server onpremiseshybrid and

infrastructure as a service (IaaS)platform workload as a Windows Serveradministrator.

As a subject matter expertsprovide technical consultancy to ICT (Information Communication& Technology) management

and staff whileproviding 2nd & 3rd level support for technicians duringand after office hours.

Experience&Skills

  • Minimum8 years of progressive experience in related field including atleast 5 years of technical experience inMicrosoft
Windows Servers VMWare Cloudfoundation.
  • A strong set of architecturalskills and expertise within the infrastructure environment of adata center including capacity
planningperformance analysis and the integration of systems management.
  • An extensive amount of experience working withMicrosoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (previously known asSCCM).
  • The ability to troubleshoot issuesinvolving Active Directory Infrastructure Group Policies andWindows Server
technologies.
  • Exceptionally proficient in operations forautomation using PowerShell and Pythonscripting.
  • Management of Windows Servers andworkloads in hybrid and onpremises infrastructures as well as highavailability
disaster recovery and themigration of resources and workloads.
  • MonitorManage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments manage virtualmachines and containers.
  • A desirableunderstanding of the security practices that are utilized in theindustry concerning file systems identity
management server hardening and vulnerabilities.
  • Familiar with Project Management and ChangeManagement processes
  • Experience with thediverse services offered by Office 365 including Exchange OnlineTeams SharePoint Online
OneDrive andMicrosoft Defender and more.
  • Indepth knowledgeof cloud computing services understanding of the functions indatabases servers networking and
software inenvironments such as Azure & Google. Education
Bachelors degree in computer scienceor in a related Engineering field or Management in InformationSystems.
  • Relevant Industry leadingCertifications from Microsoft such as Configuring Windows ServerAdvanced Services
