Assist the Head of Entrepreneurs Engagement in the development of SMEs and entrepreneurs' knowledge, skills and attributes, thus up scaling the skillset and promoting entrepreneurship while staying true to the vision, mission and values of the bank.


Support the team in building internal and external relations leading to a strong network that can assist Micro Businesses, HBB, and SMEs in growing, building, and expanding their capabilities.

Assist in the planning of successful training programs including performing site visits.
Training & DevelopmentAssist in conducting training needs assessment exercises on a regular basis in order to identify SMEs and entrepreneurs training needs and act accordingly based on the competency framework

Assist the team in creating SME development programs which address the learning needs of the SMEs and entrepreneurs to help them build their capability.

Support the team in implement programs such as, mentorship, Irshad, and other relevant programs which address the learning needs of entrepreneurs, prepare related reports as necessary.

Identify the training needs of entrepreneurs by performing training needs assessment exercises on a regular basis through site visits, one on one meetings, focussed group discussions and regular consultation with other departments.

Conduct and research and lookup on the latest needs to amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the needs and growth of entrepreneurs and SMEs.

Contribute in identifying innovative learning methodologies / technologies and liaise with IT department to ensure that highest standards of IT infrastructure are maintained.

Coordinate with other advisory service offerings to develop some parts of the training materials that are synergetic with the service offerings provided as part of the training and development programs.


Relationship ManagementSupport building strong relationships with organizations that can support entrepreneurs and SME growth and development.

Create a solid network that supports entrepreneurs and SME growth; similar to:
Chamber of Commerce, Nama, etc.

Coordinate and liaise with PR to develop strong relationships with entrepreneurs and SMEs through the means of sending greeting cards, attending events / gatherings, etc.


Compliance and ReportingAssist in the action planning in case of non-achievement of set KPIs and department wise parameters for evaluation.

Observe and identify improvements to functional procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering 'international leading practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Prepare departmental and other related reports as and when required.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field
Experience : Minimum of - 3 years of experience in Entrepreneurship function preferably with a local/Gulf bank.
