Assist in Developing, coordinating, implementing and conducting all corporate and other hotel-appropriate training programs to promote a well-trained staff resulting in positive guest relations and increased customer

satisfaction scores. Working with the L&D; Manager and departmental trainers and ensures thatcompany standards are met and measured.

What will I be doing?


Assist in planning, implementing, coordinating and presenting corporate training programs in accordance with current Hilton requirements including harassment-free workplace, diversity, new team member orientation, orientation, reunion, mastering the art of service, communication, leadership and service series and related training to meet specific departmental needs.

Review hotel training and update as necessary information for team members. Communicate

Attend meeting with department trainers and employees to review performance trends, assist in developing action plans and giving recognition. Assist departmental trainers in conducting pre-shift audits, job skills checklists and brand service toolkit service and skills training


Track, input, maintain and assist in doing audit to all individual employee training records of in house programs including department orientation records for new hires on a computer system.

Maintain training matrix regularly as per QA standards.

Oversee and monitor all departmental training programs, i.e., Alcohol Awareness, CPR, Food Safety etc. by conducting audits and making recommendations for compliance. Monitor educational assistance program.

Assist in developing annual / monthly training calendar. Compile monthly and quarterly reports of training activity. Conduct necessary analysis to assess specific departmental and training needs.

  • Ability to work on their own or in teams
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of hospitality
  • Good knowledge of employment law and employee relations
  • IT proficiency
